Marie-Anne Laurent (please don't call her Anne Marie!) came to USA from France ( Versailles) when she was 16. Her mother, Marie, was from Czechoslovakia and was related to the Hapsburgs (and forever acted accordingly...) but married and had her family in France. Her idea of her right to aristocracy in France was to pretty much relax, tell others what to do, and to work little M-A's hands to the bone....carrying for her younger brother Jeanot.

M-A was invited to live with a Seventh Day Adventist family in the San Diego area; the daughter of whom she had met in boarding school in Collonges, France. (You will possibly find it interesting that J.P.'s lineage also is from France going back to the Ventrouze region located in the red market area of France (East of Normandy & west of Paris ) - (Voila - the Ventress/Fentress name).

Marie-Anne married Tony Le Hardy, a former RAF pilot (and Aide to Lord Montbatton) who later worked for NATO....where Marie-Anne learned her 'party skills'....
